I had the most exceptional experience at Plantation House Bed & Breakfast in Port Hope. From the moment we arrived, Rose's warm hospitality made us feel like cherished guests in her beautiful home. The attention to detail was impeccable - from the luxurious French linens to the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, every aspect exuded elegance and comfort. Our room, with its sliding door opening to a deck overlooking the lush backyard, was a serene oasis that allowed us to unwind and take in the tranquil surroundings. The gourmet-style breakfast served on the deck was a delightful experience, made even more special by the delicious food and picturesque setting.What truly stood out was the thoughtfulness and care shown by Rose throughout our stay. Not only did she provide us with a sumptuous breakfast featuring poached pears from her own tree and homemade delights, but she also went above and beyond by returning my forgotten earpods promptly. The little touches, such as the bowl of white carnations and the elegant presentation of breakfast, showcased Rose's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring her guests have a memorable stay. The library room, king bed, and stunning bathroom shower added to the overall charm of the place, making it a haven of comfort and relaxation. The location was perfect, with the beautiful garden furniture on the deck providing a lovely spot to enjoy the fresh air. The modern amenities, like free Wi-Fi and a Keurig coffee maker in the shared space, added convenience to our stay. I can't recommend Plantation House enough for anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting and be pampered by a truly exceptional host. Rose's kindness and the hotel's impeccable offerings have left a lasting impression on me, and I can't wait to return to this hidden gem in Port Hope.
